Optometrist
Michael Morris, O.D. attended UCLA and graduated in 1971 with a degree in psychology. While there, he taught at the UC Fernald School, in the area of developmental psychology. He attended the Southern California College of Optometry and graduated with honors, receiving his Doctor of Optometry in 1975.
Dr. Morris has been in practice in West Covina since 1977. He is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), COA, and the Contact Lens Section of the AOA. He is a noted optometric lecturer on contact lenses and practices general optometry, with extensive training in contact lenses and refractive laser management. Dr. Morris lives in West Covina. He is married with 2 adult children.
Optometrist
Thear Bun, O.D. was born in Thailand and moved to the United States at the tender age of six. She grew up in Southern California and completed her undergraduate degree from UCLA. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Western University College of Optometry. During her professional rotations, she worked in practices in California, Colorado, and Wyoming. While in Wyoming, her externship allowed her to help stroke and head injury patients to stabilize and regain mobility using neuro-optometric rehabilitation techniques. In Colorado, she worked at the Colorado Springs VA center, helping veterans regain their independence by using state of the art instruments to examine and maximize their vision.
Thear Bun, O.D. strives to provide every patient with extraordinary eye care and looks forward to giving back to and serving the San Gabriel Valley community in which she grew up. She is also a member of the American and California Optometric Associations.
During her spare time, Dr. Bun volunteers in the community by mentoring abused and neglected children and other underprivileged families. She also takes please in providing free vision screenings for children at local schools. Dr. Bun enjoys the great outdoors and is an avid hiker. She also enjoys white water rafting, tennis, volleyball, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
